CBK’s luck changes with 11 per cent jump in profit - Friday, October 03, 2008
The Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) has recorded 11 per cent growth in its net profit for the year ended 30 June 2008. The banking industry regulator raked in an Sh9 billion profit, against a huge loss of Sh386 million in over a similar period last year the previous year. This means that the bank now has more cash to loan to banks facing short-term liquidity problems. Read More
