Am with TAZ on this one: dont pop the champagne just yet,but its a good thing nonetheless.
But am sure to be a happy man soon: bought some stock at throw away prices-now am just watching as i make paper profits-then they become real profits after am sure the demand has eased.
God bless kenya.

Kenyan's did -
Kibaki is said, thought and has proved to be good with the economy - given the last 5 yrs growth - and we the investors benefit.
RO  is said to be good with politics, social issues, transcends ethnicity,is youthfull and capable of uniting the country (yes he did it in 2002 with Kibaki tosha - and has been at it since)

So lets  have the two work together for the benefit of all in the country - struggling investors, monied investors and the common man/woman....

Not to be cynical,Raila has never been content with any position.  Is he for real or was that just a charade?  Is there more to come?

Let us now go back to having stockskenya being a stocks forum.

Let the politicians worry about what to do with the positions while we make money. After all apart from taxing us,the only other demand we ever make is an enabling environment, which will surely come with the optimism shown

i won. the fact that i can base my investing on fundamentsls and not the exiasting political scenario is the best thing am having this year. how i wish they would have done this a mnth ago.

wait NO!

the uncertainty made available some stocks at discounted prices, meaning someone is gaining. am waiting to see the prices today and regret how much i would have made if i took the risk.
