Forex [ANTIDUMB] Tuesday, February 26, 2008 17:38
@Green Mountains, you do not have to be glued to your monitor. It depends on what kind of trader you are; short term (intra day) or long term. Short term trading is therefore very stressful for that reason. Also ask yourself why big institutions like banks trade forex if there is no sense to it. Obviously, despite the odds,it does work. Just depends on how you want to look at it. If successful to you means winning every single time, then of course it will not make sense to you.
For individual traders, risk only what you can afford to lose. It's all about money management. The problem is most people are fixated only on what they can gain when the real question should be what they can afford to lose.
Is it gambling? You betcha..... every single time you trade.

sheer luck [Green Mountains] Tuesday, February 26, 2008 14:49
its a 30-70 chance,it can go either way but more likely go 70% to the dogs and you need to monitor it by the second. Total unnecessary stress.......bure kabisa

zero.... [Njung'e] Tuesday, February 26, 2008 08:35
@Antidumb,
You are not convinced yourself ...........but we share the same belief.......You lose,i gain.I lose, you gain. That is zero sum game...Is it not??.........more or less like gambling....and most of the platforms you will find in the market, may it be AVX or Saxo.....They are always outsmarted......I insist. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then it can only be a duck.......
.As for baby pips,i gave out soft copies to a number of SK members early last year......Nothing new.

No guarantees [ANTIDUMB] Tuesday, February 26, 2008 02:11
@buntu,there are no guarantees in forex trading. Anyone purpoting that is lying. The market is too huge.
@Njunge,Yes you do need knowledge and a whole lot of it to trade forex. Again, like I said no guarantees.
Anyone willing to invest in forex trading MUST be willing to lose so if you are not ready to lose any capital then forex trading is NOT for you. It's very risky. Remember Economics 101; the higher the risk, the higher the returns but also the higher the risk of losing. Forex trading in itself is not a SCAM. However, people use it to scam others who have absolutely no clue what the trade is all about. Forex trading has been around forever but only the big guys like banks were the players. That has since changed and anyone can now trade forex. Remember, you can WIN BIG OR LOSE BIG so unless and until you are ready to accept this please stay away from forex trading. Also DO NOT give your money to anyone to trade on your behalf unless you understand what forex trading is all about. You can start here; a good site for basics on trading. Happy learning :)

Very much interested man how can we get in touch.
|
forex [ubuntu] Friday, February 22, 2008 10:29
we can make a deal after clear answers to the following:
1. Do you guarantee the returns? say,can we make a deal of specific returns and you guarantee it with proper docs such as a bank guarantee
2. Can you furnish a practical example of your previous trading indicating average returns, and fluctuations etc
Take the risks,take the lead.
