on behalf of Kikuyus I forgive you and all Kalenjins. I will treat no one from your tribe and everyone else that is not Kikuyu unfaily. We are all Kenyans and the creation of God

I suppported ODM in the elections. Now I dont support ODM,I dont support PNU,I support the call for peace. I am a Kalenjin and I denounce in the strongest terms possible the actions of my fellow Kalenjins who displaced other tribes from Rift Valley,to a large extent,the Kikuyu. Please forgive us Kikuyus. Revenge will get us nowhere aas you will revenge on an innocent man,who will in turn loo for your very own and revenge on them. A vicious cycle whih can only stop when we are all dead. Let us not go that way. Let it stop with us.

This has already affected ALL of us. We have lost loved ones,friends or family,we have lost jobs,we have lost business. Our industries are collapsing. How far does it need to go before we stop?

Let us shun the violence and any calls for the same. Let us not destroy ourselves.

Thank God we still have people with a heart in this forum.  Peace is expensive and like Annan said,we also have to make hard choices to attain it.  In person,i pledge from this day forward to become Kenyan as opposed to Meru.  I will stop,deliberately (and may God help me),to border any more hatred in my heart towards members of other tribes because just like me,they never chose to be born Kikuyu,Luo,Kalenjin et al.  The late Fr Michael was a friend,who celebrated my wedding mass and i must say that i forgive all who stoned him to death.  I also pray that the good lord will grant strength to families that have suffered destruction of both lives and property and to encourage them that God won't let them down.

As for those who seem to glorify violence (even in this forum),i beseech thee to stop and realise that violence only begets violence.  Stop the hatred in your hearts and lets focus on reconcilliation instead. God bless ye all and God bless Kenya

Dearest Kenyans,
I am very convinced that we can make peace,and we should strive to heal
wounds. I also know that none of us can win through egocentric
imaginative principle of "it is either me or nothing"
We need to appreciate that life is only made beautiful in diversity,and
the combination of the multiple socio-economic and political colors make
life worth living. 
The Orange and Blue political colors make Kenyans beautiful regardless
of who is wearing what colors,what symbols and logos.

May the Lord have Mercy unto us and Peace and Love be multiplied among ourselves.We can act as a mob to destroy and kill but let's all remember we shall be judged as INDIVIDUALS.

Lets all be our neighbour's keeper. Remember the great Msamaria mwema story as told by Jesus? We need to practise the same from the depth of our hearts BUT NOT our emotional and biased heads.

Why swear by the holy book to keep peace by one hand,while holding a sword in the other?

...  Someone said," if we have no peace,it's because we have forgotten we belong to each other."

So much risk has been taken to create clashes .... 

May be it's time we took the risk to effect  peace.

We have come from far together,our destination of a truly prosperous nation is so near...plis let us not fall on the wayside and bury our focus

many are the ideas we have shared and succeeded, many are the things we have in common,plis let us not concentrate on the little differences we have based on our beautiful God given tribes.

wherever we go,lets all be agents of peace,and lets leave the rest to God

I went to  church last  sunday  with a very heavy heart angered as to what was happening but at the end i prayed to GOD to give me the courage to forgive. My heart is at peace as i pray for our beloved country. May God bless us all and grant us forgivness.
