@enigma I'm an Arsenal fan and believe in them but I think the best team in England going bu the current record and consistency is Man-U.

I will take this to the bitter end. Every club has players who it relies on to bring the bacon i.e ManU has Ronaldo,Rooney,Vidic while Arsenal has Fabregas,Adebayor and Toure.When these players do not play,the team suffers.This is not a sign that a team is not developing I believe Lucas is being groomed for the Gerrard role while Agger and Skrtel will take over from Carrager and Hyypia. However we are one striker and one right winger short. Rafa will sort these issues out soon enough. I accept the peace offer and I hope you will not ruka like our politicians when we make it number 6 in Moscow and claim you were misquoted etc..

@Enigma and Oldmanmoses,what is the matter with you guys.
I did not say the team is old I said they needed to DEVELOP,surely you can understand that much.
As I was saying unless Rafa begins to rebuild they will not be celebrating for a loooong time.
The continued reliance on Gerrard Carrager and Reina and now Torres,will lead to Liverpool becoming another Chelsea,an old team with young players.
Understand,a good youth policy is not the be all and end all of football,witness Ajax Amsterdam have one of the best in the world but where are they?
C'mon chaps,you know I speak the truth,it is no disgrace to admit the truth.
As a peace gesture I will support Liverpool all next season should they win this title,so remote is the chance that I can afford to play like that.

I doubt a team that has been in two of the last 3 champion league semi finals,won an FA Cup in 2006 06can be said to be in its last days. As for our youth system if you followed the transfer market last season you will notice that Benitez's purchases included a substantial number of young players e.g Mihaylov,Lucas,Nemeth( Lucas by the way is currently in the first team).As for our current team are Torres,Babel,Mascherano,Pennant,Skrtel,Reina,Agger old?
I believe the team is has finally started to jell (witness our current form) and will give the Arsenal and ManU a run for their money next season.As for Everton,Villa replacing us,I suggest you wait for the 2nd coming before that happens.The Rafalution is gaining steam... If you are a ManU supporter just try and catch up to our record(bado hamjatufikia. Imagine,despite all that succccess) and if you are Arsenal win a Champion League for once.
Lucky for Liverpool we do not have an albertross hanging on our neck but are looking to the future. I believe you expected to Inter to win. Clearly you cannot see the future!

Liverpool were a great team and their 2005 champions league triumph was well won,but the fact of the matter is that their best is behind them.
Living on the past can only take you so far and under Rafa Benitez they have gone as far as they can go.
Enigma you wanted to know which was the best team in England,any team that looks forward,DEVELOPS players,even if you have bought them and FIGHTS for the premiership.
Everton,Aston Villa and of course Arsenal and Man Utd are in this category,as for Chelsea they are coming to the end of an era.
So Enigma there you have it,unless Liverpool begin to rebuild that victory in 2005 will be the last time they celebrate for a long,looong time.
