Does the SACCO open up membership to people outside the common bond?

Mhasibu is the best if your an Accountant. Memebership is open to students, unemployed and employed. Minimum monthly contribution is a K. And the best part they accept other forms of securities i.e log books and listed shares.

The UN SACCO is good but if you are a non UN employees, you need to be an immediate family member to an employee. Their dividends (e.g 15% for last year) are good and their loan processing is exellent. Check them out at: www.unsacco.unon.org

Mhasibu Sacco,if you're an accountant,or work in an accounting firm. its very well managed, strict in issuing loans, which I think is really good if you don't want to lose ur money to mismanagement.

I know that Mhasibu SACCO in my experience is quite well-run. Very efficient. Check the membership requirements - you may need to be an accountant or working in an accounting firm.
The other SACCO I've heard rave reviews about is the Unilever SACCO. They give very good returns every year, because they have some property investments. So your savings earn you money,on top of (arguably) low-rate credit.

Join Kenya Re sacco,it has members from at least three companies note necessarily insurance related businesses and I think they are good, and maybe the whole of your group can find out more about it and if they accept, you can all join it!
