what do you see the share price of msc after dividend and bonus - is 47 a good price to sell by friday 2nd? Or is it better to sell after bonus and dividend?

Cin,

You're right on the demand / supply point and if you're proven right and the share price falls to Sh.15 then I'll just have to sit in and hold on to optimism.  I'm also optimistic that once the COMESA concessions are granted in December,we might just see it go to Sh.30.

After such exercise....my little understanding....the share price will drop...

and not to 30/-...that is too optimistic..... which I share....

but if the market forces hold constant......

the supply will treple and the demand, moreorless remain constant....

thus minimise by a third .... 40 to 45/- ...approximately..... 13/- to 15/-

anything above.... profit.....

thus if you want to sell at cost......sell at aforestated amounts...

Hey Cin,

Ok...lemme first confirm we on the same lingua page........ante bonus (before bonus?); ex bonus (after bonus?)  So,if my interpretation is correct:

with a share bonus of 2:1 I'll multiply  x no of  shares bought at 49.50 by 3 right?  So,I can still sell some to recover my initial capital even at a price of Sh.30?

Stocks Kenyans

Although what you post makes loads of logic,I who, however, bought Mumias at 49.50 would rather wait and sell some ex bonus especially since I didn't buy the share in its 30s to average out the losses.

Historically, Mumias price should have hit a high of approximately Kshs. 84!  For some reasons this has not and will not happen. It is however projected that the price ex-bonus and ex- devidend will be approximately Ksh. 27 and hence better sell ex- all.

Could somebody share possible reasons for this unique response unlike BBK,EABL etc.

ex bonus is always a better buy than a sell....

and

ante bonus is always a good sell than a buy....

unless there is a share-split or a share-bonus...

in such circumstances....

one reads the tide.....
